Well, did you miss me or what!! I have been a busy little girl the last 3 months, so I have lots to say...We will begin with a November update...
November...do you know what happens in November? It is a little holiday known as Thanksgiving or as I like to call it...Eat all you want and no one says anything to you celebration. No kidding, I love this holiday...it incorporates all things food. What could be better, I ask. Well let me tell you, food + relatives to lavish attention on me=MM Happy. My cousins and aunts and uncles all come to see me. It was great! My Aunt Lori, Uncle Jeff and Cousin Kaity came all the way from Greenwood to play with me and laugh with me and do anything I asked of them. I even fell asleep while Kaity held me and we watched cartoons. It was heaven. Then later my Aunt Anna, Uncle Russ, cousins Katie, Morgan and David showed up! Hello...more people to love on me. I don't believe I sat down the entire time! David was a little scared to hold me...I think it was my beauty that made him think twice before holding me. It was all simply to much and I had to nap before my afternoon session with everyone, so I laid down and everyone else ate.
My Mom and Dad cooked it up...all and all we had 14 people join us for Thanksgiving and then we had some folks drop by during the day...Like my friend Campbell and Uncle Jud as well Mr. Blake. It was the best Thanksgiving of my whole entire Life and I would like to suggest that once a year is not enough...Once a month would be good and I will have to see about changing that.
Hello December!!! I'll be honest, I thought November was good, but December was like nothing I have ever seen! My parents went to this big party and got all dressed up. My Mom is almost as pretty as me! Almost. Then the next weekend, we went to Greenwood to celebrate this thing called Christmas. Remember my picture with Santa? He is associated with this holiday so I'm told. Anyway, so we go to Greenwood with my big sister Chloe and we look like the Clampets or maybe even the Griswalds and we get there and HOLY MOTHER...wrapping paper has exploded all over my Granmama and Pop's House. I have never seen so many presents! I immediately scope out the situation and see how many are for me. Thankfully, I have more than anyone else and I realize that all is going to be right! So we get there and I get to see my Uncle Mike, Aunt Brenda and my cousins Brantley and Peyton. I love me some Brantley and his devoted attention to me is wonderful. Seriously, Brantley stayed and stared at me and played with me for like 3 days straight. It was Heaven. In case you can't tell I am very much the center of attention and I would not have it any other way.
So, Friday evening comes around and we open presents. To kick off the celebration my Granmama and all my cousins take me and put me on a new toy. It is like a bike thing. Anyway, My Granmama has bought me a crown. Does this lady know me or what! I make my entrance into living room so everyone knows that Christmas has begun! I felt like I was a queen and I was on a float or something and all my subjects were awaiting my arrival...fantastic. Now all I need is one of those scepter things so I can point to something and someone can bring it to me...wait a minute...I do that now!! We open up presents and it is unreal. I got so much cool stuff...I even got my own baby dolls and I kissed them upon seeing them for the first time! I quickly put them down for bed though...they were demanding little girls! I got waaaay to much...but had a good time and wanted to thank everyone!! I am nothing if not polite!
So we wrap up my stay in Greenwood and head back to Gadsden. We look even more like the Clampets/Griswalds on the way back and I think my Dad is contemplating buying a shell to stick on the top of the car! I suggest a trailer...we can haul more stuff that way, I tell him. Christmas day is hear and I can not believe my eyes! I though wrapping paper exploded at my Granmama's house...MT. ST. Wrapping Paper has erupted at my house on Christmas morning and its lava of goodies keep coming. I don't know about ya'll but can you think of a better way to wake up! Presents for Days! I sat down and started on my task at hand. Open Present. Chew on Paper. Chew on box that said present came in. Repeat several times over. Santa had left stuff just laying out for me! I didn't even have to open them, which is a time saving measure in my case. Santa brought me a cooking tool set, a mirror singing thing, a lion cart that I can push around, etc. I swear, it was too much to remember. My Granmama and Pop were there and then Grammie and Grandpa came by!!! I was overwhelmed. I had the best Christmas. You should see the t-shirts I gave my mom and all the my grandparents. They have pictures of me on them with a little saying that is special to us. This way when they are not around me, they can put the shirt on and think of me all day long!!!
I awoke the next morning wondering what was going on...no presents...I thought this was a new thing we were doing.
Happy New Year...it is January. My Granmama is staying with me because my Grammie is having surgery. Me and Granmama are hanging out. I will take this time to let you in on how I am doing as this is my 9th month. As you will recall, at my 6 month check up I was 22 pounds and 27 inches. I am now 26.14 pounds and 30 and 1/4 inches. I have gained 4 pounds and grew 3 inches. I am a miracle! My Doctor says that if there were 100 girls my age in a room...I would eat 95 of them!! My Doctor thinks this is funny...He gave me more shots! I hate him. Actually, they were not that bad this time. I didn't really finch. I should also tell you that I have mastered the "Army Crawl" and am now mobile! I get in my hands and knees, but then a fall into the army crawl and that seems to work for now. I also like to pull up on things and I don't know why but am fascinated by the air conditioning vents in the floor. I am drinking out of my juice cup, but still need some help! Actually, I like to play with my juice cup and I like for mommy or daddy to hold it while I drink from it! I can go from my stomach to sitting up and I have 7 teeth! Yes, people I know, I am amazing. My parents tell me that everyday and I tend to believe them.
I promise to stay on my Dad about keeping this updated. He claims to have been busy lately with work, but whatever...My public demands information. I decided to pay him a small stipend of hugs and an occasional kiss. I love all you...enjoy the pix and make comments. You know I love to hear from you!
